STUPORBOWL
superbowl sunday is traditionally a day for me to drink beer and eat junk. hell, i don’t even watch football during the regular season. it’s just a good excuse to get lazy and eat nachos.
now the only thing i really like about the superbowl is the commercials. is it just me or did they suck this year? i did like the lifewater thriller gecko commercial. that was cute. and i thought the caveman bud light commercial was good. and of course, since i’m a total dork, i was stoked to see the iron man preview, even though i had seen it online. but what was up with the commercials?! crappy.
as a man in the philadelphia area, i was not going to route for the giants, even if that meant routing for the patriots. the giants? those new jersey traitors? a team who will have the balls to have their stadium in new jersey and STILL claim new york? piss off!
plus i would have liked to see the patriots have the most wins in NFL history AND an undefeated season. cest la vie.
i’m taking some time off. i’m going to pittsburgh to unwind. our 3 year anniversary is coming up, and i need a couple days off. i can’t wait to eat cambodican and sushi three. hopefully i get a chance to go to claddagh for lunch. whiskey flight here i come!!
